Serbian Informatics
Association awarded E-Smart Systems for major contribution to development of the
informatics in 2009.
During the
celebration of the day of Serbian
Informatics Association, plaques for
major contribution to development of
the informatics in 2009 have been
awarded. There have been ten
nominated solutions in category for
developed and applied hardware or
software product. Professional jury
gave the award for the System for
remote reading and controlling of
electric meters in low voltage
network – MESMET to E-Smart Systems.
Jasna Matic, the minister for
telecommunication and information
association, has given the awards at
the ceremony in Serbian Chamber of
Commerce. During the ceremony, the
minister stated:
‘To my delight there is an
initiative to invest and work in
branch of information and
telecommunication technologies. I am
pleased to see that technologies,
which provide energy efficiency in
business process control, and
promotion of the Serbian products,
are emphasized. This is very
important in this financial crisis.
Next to the E-Smart Systems, there
are prizewinners in other
categories:

Billing system - for developed and
implemented information system
• MA. Bojan Bakmaz – ‘Service
quality in heterogeneous wireless
networks’- for the publication of
science survey in informatics
• ‘tailor’ – website called SERBIAN
SOUVENIRS – for developed and
applied informatics service
Next to the awards, the jury decided
to award two WRITTEN COMMENDATIONS
to:
• Milutin Atanackovic – for the
website of the cathedral in Belgrade
