Through
several projects, where we implemented PKI and Smart Card technologies
in large and complex environments (Hemofarm, EPS, City of Belgrade –
City Administration), we have developed applications with which we
configure, manage, solve incidental situations. The standard project
contains following stages: training (PKI Laboratory – technical part,
PKI workshop – business part), PKI design, Smart Card environment
design, server environment design, and documents & process framework of
system maintenance.
A number of application modules has been developed over our
long-lasting experience, with the emphasis on:
• Basic application on Enrollment stations
• Logon script for EFS
• Logon script for Smart Cards
Modules provide:
• Clear defining of card types in the system
• Centralized management over the entire smart card system, with solving
incidental situations
• Controlled use of EFS with support for recovery processes
• Solving the problem of digital encryption and signing, by introducing
the card with two profiles.
