Components of the TACad Core system are:
- Windows application TACadAdmin for system configuration
- Base where all data on entering/exiting and system configuration are
being recorded
- Web service for communication with the database
- Web application for entering/exiting control (Unicard)
- Windows service for notification
Windows application TACad for system configuration:
Windows application TACad Admin is a user part of TACad Core intended
for system configuration. Supported functionalities are:
* Configuration and monitoring the devices within the system;
* Keeping record on employees;
* Defining employees hierarchy, which enables advanced use of
notification system and processing of noted absences from work via WEB
application;
* Keeping record on employees’ working hours;
* Issuing user cards and maintenance in the system (blocking,
activating, withdrawal);
* Issuing provisional cards for employees and maintenance in the system;
* Defining categories of absence and presence, by which one can get
precise reports on employees being late, working overtime, being present
during/before/after working hours;
* Configuration and overview of opening rules;
* Configuration and overview of rules on accessing the company’s
premises;
* Integration with Active Directory and synchronization of data on
employees;
* Integration with E-Smart Systems Windows 2003 PKI solution;
Integral part of the TACad Core system is notification service on
irregularities in the system, absence of employees who had not
registered their arrival within the working hours, on irregular arrival
of employees, etc. The system user can in advance choose the types if
notifications he/she would like to receive.
