TACad - time attendance and access control integrated
with Active Directory is an information system for recording the
presence of employees at work, and control access to certain work areas
by use of contactless or hybrid smart cards. In the case when the system
is integrated with the company’s Active Directory, it is possible to use
a part of the installed information infrastructure and defined security
policy.
Each employee receives a unique identification smart card that allows
him to register at access points. The system requires setting up of
contactless readers (antenna) and/or electromagnetic locks at the
entrances/exits of buildings, as well as IP cameras that provide imaging
at the time of recording, so that the card is prevented misuse by other
